The Love Collection

I’d set aside my art, but when my first niece was born my heart opened up and I was no longer able to hold creativity within. With both my nieces I learned to appreciate the simplicity and joy of drawing the everyday. With my nieces I learned that drawing is playing. And with my nieces I learned the joy of receiving a hand drawn image to express an “I love you” or “I thought of you today” and “thank you.” Each pattern that I create captures this essence, hoping that the fabric, or the wrapping paper, or the object with my design will be used in a way that transmits that indescribable hard to contain love and joy.
