Design Challenges

I love challenges. They push me to grow and move beyond what I already know. I created these illustrations specifically for the Spoonflower Design Challenges. While winning is a nice goal, the real victory is the growth that comes from following a script and concepting it to the best of my ability under a tight deadline. This is the opposite of my creative process, where ideas flow in and dictate how they want to be shown on the page—it's a much more 'zen' feeling (as I’ve blogged about before). But like I said—I love a challenge, and I’m multifaceted!"
